Can a patient on methotrexate 15 mg/week receive MMR?
Ask Vax: Low-dose methotrexate (≤0.4 mg/kg/week, or generally ≤20 mg/week in adults) is not considered significantly immunosuppressive. MMR can be administered. If methotrexate is combined with other immunosuppressants, defer the live vaccine and seek specialist advice.
